Tracey, our Principal Lawyer and Legal Practitioner Director is a highly experienced and qualified legal professional with a background of 30+ years’ experience in commercial legal practice advising a broad range of small to large companies and individuals. She provides both strategic and technical guidance and advice in a broad variety of legal practice areas, adding value across all aspects of a client’s business and commercial operations. Tracey acts for clients within a diverse range of industry sectors including manufacturing, processing, construction, resources, agribusiness, property, professional services, engineering, retail, wholesale and online businesses to name a few.

As Business Operations Manager, Bill leads our team of dedicated staff and is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of Robinson Nielsen Legal.

Bill has over two decades of experience managing large organisations and running his own successful small business. With his extensive expertise, he understands the importance of accessibility and communication when engaging clients, networking, and building the firm. Bill’s unique, client-focused approach helped place Robinson Nielsen Legal as a finalist in the 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 Australian Small Business Champion Awards.

Legal Assistant (Commercial |Property| Litigation Law)

Robinson Nielsen Legal is a boutique Brisbane law firm. Join us and be a part of something truly special!

We are looking for a legal assistant with the ability and confidence to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment. You should be  committed to excellence and have good organisational skills. A high level of computer skill and knowledge will be highly regarded (particularly experience with LEAP).

Duties and Responsibilities

The role will include:

  • Providing administrative support to the legal team – including answering telephones, managing calendars, scheduling appointments;
  • Greeting clients and visitors to the office and office housekeeping;
  • Assisting with preparation of legal documents, such as contracts, court documents, and correspondence, under the supervision of a lawyer
  • File management, including opening and archiving files, preparing and maintaining case-related documents, and assisting with document management;
  • Assisting with billing and accounting tasks, such as preparing invoices and tracking expenses;
  • Filing of Court Documents and attendances at government departments;
  • Assisting with conveyancing transactions.

For a candidate studying law, there may be an opportunity to undertake legal research / file related tasks in addition to the above.
